FAQ

What ages is Camp AllStar for?

Camp AllStar is built for kids roughly ages 5–11. If your camper is a little outside that range, sign up anyway — we'll follow up and figure out if it's a good fit.

When is the fall clinic?

Monday, September 21, 2026, from 9am to 1pm. Wellesley schools are closed that day, so we're running a one-day clinic instead.

How much does it cost?

The fall clinic is $75 for the day. Private coaching is quoted per session, since rates depend on group size and length — ask us for a quote. Summer 2027 pricing is TBD.

How do I pay, and when is my kid's spot confirmed?

Sign up first, then send the fee on Venmo to @charliegriffith_ with your camper's name in the note — $75 for the fall clinic, or whatever we quote you for private coaching. The spot isn't confirmed until that payment comes through. If you don't have Venmo, email us at campallstar3@gmail.com and we'll work out another way to pay.

Can I sign up for Summer 2027 now?

Not yet. The dates, length, price, and location for summer are all still TBD, so signups aren't open. Once it's set we'll put the details on the Summer 2027 session page — ask us and we'll email you when they're up.

Where is camp?

Camp runs in our backyard in the Poets Corner neighborhood of Wellesley — the same yard we've been running camp in. We email you the exact address when you sign up. Private coaching is different: we come to you, either your yard or a field in Wellesley.

Who are the coaches?

High school athletes from Wellesley and the surrounding towns. Their names, schools, and sports are listed on the about page.

What sports do you play?

Basketball, football, soccer, floor hockey, mini golf, gaga ball, wiffle ball, kickball, and group games like capture the flag and dodgeball. Summer sessions also run a slip n slide.

What should my kid wear or bring?

Sneakers, a water bottle, and a snack, at minimum. The fall clinic runs to 1pm, so pack lunch too. Summer sessions, whenever they run, also call for sunscreen, lunch, a bathing suit, and a towel. Check the session page for the exact list.

Do you collect medical or allergy information?

Yes — there's an optional allergies/medical field right on the signup form, so you don't have to fill out a separate paper form on-site. It goes straight to the camp's private inbox and nowhere else. For anything serious, like an EpiPen or an action plan, please also call us directly.

Will there be photos of my kid on the website?

Only if you've signed our photo & media release. It's completely optional, it isn't a condition of signing up, and you can complete it any time at /media-release.

What if my question isn't answered here?

Ask us directly — the contact page goes straight to the camp inbox.
